What do you do on a gas safety check?

Typically the checks we undertake for a Gas Safety Certificate include the following:

• A check of all components for any corrosion, degradation or leaks.

• Flue inspection for condition and integrity.

• Inspection for any indication of incomplete combustion or ‘sooting’.

• Full inspection of the gas appliance for general condition and integrity.

• Checking for gas leaks and installation standards

• Checking correct ventilation.
