Keeping it Clean in Lymington

Maintaining your central heating system is very important if you want to keep it running when you most need it. Modern condensing boilers have smaller pipework in the heat exchanger than their less efficient predecessors. this means that they are more susceptible to dirt and magnetic debris that can float around in your heating system.

One of our customers complained that the boiler was not heating the radiator and hot water. We diagnosed the issues as a blocked heat exchanger and flushed the system. Divine water also fitted a new magnetic central heating gold filter (Magna Clean Type) to this Vaillant boiler. You can see in the picture how much dirt has been collected in just a couple of hours of operation.
If you need a new boiler do not delay call Divine today. Also in the pictures you can see how dirty the water was when we started and how clean it was when we finished.

There are 4 steps to keeping your system clean:

1 Check water quality circulating in the radiators.

2 Flush or power flush with x800 cleaner.

3 Fit a suitable magnetic cleaner like Magnaclean, fern TF1 or Gold filter.

4 Retest test and add Fernox x100 inhibitor.

This is what a typical magnetic filter can collect in a year. Magna clean.
