Baths come in all shapes, sizes, materials, budgets and quality. Some of the less expensive budget baths from major DIY retailers are so thin that you can see the shadow of your hand through the material. Its best to look at the spec when buying one of the better manufacturers of baths is Carron, these are heavy duty hard waring baths.
Special care needs to be taken when installing a bathroom with a bath. Ensure it firmly seated and will not move with time or the weight of water when full. A good quality fungal resistant bath silicone sealant should be used to seal the bath against the tiles or wall boards.
